The Scope
The shower is the room: a walk-in behind a single frameless glass panel, lined floor to ceiling in an emerald tile laid in a herringbone pattern. The glaze is uneven from tile to tile, so the wall shifts in tone as the light moves across it.
A solid marble shelf is set into the tile beside a brass valve, and the shower set — rain head, hand shower and controls — is brass throughout. The same brass returns on the fluted wall sconces and on the frames of the two mirrors above the vanity.
The vanity is walnut with tapered legs and brass pulls, under a stone counter with two undermount basins and matte black mixers. The floor is a large-format marble-look tile, and a window beside the vanity looks onto planting.
