Kitchen Remodeling in Hermosa Beach
Serving 90254 and Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Torrance
The kitchen in a Hermosa Beach house is usually upstairs, next to the living space and whatever view the house has, at the top of a stair that everything has to come up. We have finished and published a kitchen and bathroom project in this city, and the part that shaped it most was not the design brief — it was the route in.
Real projects. Real prices.
73 finished remodels published with their final price — nothing hidden.
What 27 finished LA kitchens actually cost: a median of $50k, in a range of $23k–$84k. Real final prices from our own job records, not estimates.
$25,000 White shaker cabinetry, white subway tile, and light quartz counters.
$38,000 Emerald shaker cabinetry and brass hardware around a cream range and an apron sink.
$50,000 Navy shaker lowers under white uppers, with a slate-tone tile backsplash and a wood ledge shelf.
$65,000 White uppers over grey shaker lowers with brass pulls, an apron sink and a broad quartz peninsula.
$75,000 Wood shaker cabinetry under a full-height quartz slab, with a marble-look hall bath.
$84,000 Warm grey shaker cabinetry with quartz counters, plus floating vanities in dark stone tile.
Kitchens that are not on the ground floor
Measure the route before drawing the room
A worktop, an appliance or a cabinet run that cannot make the turn at the top of a stair is not a delivery problem, it is a redesign. Slab sizes, carcass widths and appliance cases are chosen against the actual route on the day they are specified.
A narrow footprint wants a galley, honestly
At this lot width the island people ask for frequently leaves aisles nobody can cook in. A well-drawn galley or a single long run with a proper landing zone produces a better kitchen than a squeezed island does, and we say so before the drawings rather than after.
Upstairs kitchens need their extraction planned
Getting a duct from a top-floor kitchen to outside air on a tall narrow house is a real design decision, not a late one. Done properly it is invisible; done late it is a box in the wrong place.
Salt air picks the hardware
Hinges, runners, handles and fixings this close to open water are specified for corrosion. It costs very little at the point of choosing and it is the difference between a kitchen that ages well and one that does not.
