Plan check runs through LA County Building and Safety's Lomita district office, or through Willdan as the City's named alternative. Knowing the county's submittal habits keeps a gated-city kitchen on an ordinary schedule.
Fire country informs the shell
The Peninsula's top carries serious fire-hazard designations. When a kitchen scope touches the envelope — vents, roof penetrations for the hood, new glazing — materials and details get chosen with embers in mind, at drawing stage where it is cheap.
