Whole-Home Remodeling in Corona del Mar
Serving 92625 and Newport Beach, Newport Coast, Laguna Beach
We have done this here and published it: a two-storey whole-home remodel in Corona del Mar, photographed room by room, with the closed-out price on the page. A whole house on a narrow lot is the project where the staircase, the light and the structure stop being three separate subjects and become one programme, which is exactly why doing it in one go beats doing it in three.
Real projects. Real prices.
73 finished remodels published with their final price — nothing hidden.
What 17 finished LA whole-home remodels actually cost: a median of $150k, in a range of $36k–$440k. Real final prices from our own job records, not estimates.
$150,000 A cobalt glass-tile backsplash with marble-look slab baths in brushed brass.
$238,000 A walnut-fronted quartz island, arched openings, and sage-green stacked tile baths.
$242,700 Structural work to open up the space, a vaulted ceiling, solid wood floors, kitchen and two baths.
$275,000 A broad quartz island, a curved staircase with iron balusters, marble-look baths.
$279,000 White shaker cabinetry, granite counters, and a tan subway tile backsplash.
$440,000 Stone-look tile bathrooms with freestanding tubs, under an exposed beam ceiling.
Taking a whole house on the flower streets
The staircase is the first decision, not the last
On a narrow, deep plan the stair governs where every room can be and how far daylight travels. Moving it is expensive; leaving it and designing around it is often better. Either is fine — deciding by accident is not, and that decision belongs in week one.
Structure and services in the same opening
Beams, posts, wiring, pipework and ducting all want the same voids. Resolving them together on one set of drawings is what keeps a whole-house job from turning into a sequence of small arguments about who gets the ceiling.
Daylight from the ends and from above
With both long elevations built up against neighbours, usable light arrives at the front, at the back and through the roof. A stairwell that carries light down through the house does more work than any amount of additional glazing at ground level.
Living upstairs, if the view justifies it
Plenty of the best plans here put the living space on the upper floor and the bedrooms below. It is a real option rather than a fashion, and whether it suits a particular household is a question worth asking out loud early, because it changes everything downstream.
One team from drawing to handover
We design and we build, which on a project this interlocked is the difference between a sequence that holds and a series of handovers where each trade inherits somebody else's assumption. Onn runs it himself.
