Designing interiors in Pasadena means designing for houses with opinions. A Craftsman has a palette, a Spanish Colonial Revival has a light quality, a post-war ranch has proportions — and the successful rooms here are the ones that argue with none of it while still being obviously of this decade rather than a museum of the last one.
Real projects. Real prices.
73 finished remodels published with their final price — nothing hidden.
What our finished LA work actually cost: 27 kitchens ran $23k–$84k, median $50k; 28 bathrooms $28k–$105k, median $38k; 17 whole-home remodels $36k–$440k, median $150k. Real final prices from our own job records, not estimates.

$56,000 Marble-look slab walls with matte black fittings and a backlit mirror over an oak vanity.
$84,000 Warm grey shaker cabinetry with quartz counters, plus floating vanities in dark stone tile.

Interiors for period Pasadena houses
Let the house set the palette
Original timber, plaster and tile give a starting point most new-build interiors would pay for. Working from what is already in the room produces a scheme that looks inevitable; working from a mood board produces one that looks imported.
Light behaves differently in deep plans
Period houses in this city are often deep with modest openings, so daylight arrives from one side and stops. Layered artificial light, placed for the tasks people actually do, matters more here than in a house with glass on two elevations.
Designed and built by the same people
We draw and we build, so a finish specified in the scheme is a finish somebody has to install — which quietly removes the class of decision that looks good on a board and is unbuildable in a hundred-year-old room.
